Anyway, this should apply to both the 200w and Pet:
Battery life is super short so plan to get a backup battery or two. Expect about 8-10 minutes of full power usage on the 2.0 Ah battery. I grabbed a Greenworks 24v 2.0 Ah for $13. This gives you obviously double the run time which is enough for our light usage (we have a big Miele cannister vac for whole house vacuuming). The problem with that is if you need more than the two 2.0 Ah batteries. The included charger is super weak, like a .5A charger. That means it takes 4 hours to recharge the small 2.0 Ah battery. Sad. So I went and grabbed a 2A charger which charges the 2.0 Ah battery in one hour. If I were to do it again, and I might anyway, I would look at a 3 or 4Ah battery. I was concerned the extra weight would make using the vac unwieldy. At this point I would prefer a larger battery so as to not have to swap batteries so often.
Regarding the batteries, the Bissell battery is undoubtedly manufactured by Greenworks with the same quality, but there are several other generic GW-compatible 24V batteries available out there on Amazon, eBay and AliExpress, etc. so there is no worry about proprietary batteries becoming unavailable in the future.
