QLHU49XA still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).
The ambient temp sensors in these are horribly inaccurate. If you're buying them for the internal probes only, they're fantastic. In the limited time I kept this particular set, the internal sensors were more accurate than any other wireless probe I've used. Measured them alongside a few handheld quick-read thermometers I have on hand. Seems to be the general consensus on these and similar wireless models. Great internal sensors, poor ambient accuracy.
Really wish the ambient sensor had worked better. Would have been perfect to monitor the smoker temp remotely.

Ambient temp from any meat thermometer isn't going to be spot on compared to the one on your grill. The sensors are in different locations of the grill and at different proximities from the heat source.
It'd be nice if the app let's us callobrate/adjust the temp readings though. But I don't know if that's even a thing on any of these meat thermometer apps.
Got this on the last deal. Very impressed how well it works (especially compared to similar probe systems from other brands). App connects quickly and works flawlessly, temperature estimation has been nearly perfect, alerts actually alert, etc. I had kind of given up on these types of thermometers due to lots of bad experience and I've been chuffed with this.
W.r.t. the complaint about ambient temperatures - mine seems about as accurate as I'd expect (oven temp versus reading is usually +/- 10% which... given that the probe is right next to the meat is about as accurate as something like this would be).
