I mean not all people necessarily want the lowest price but the highest setup combination. You always get what you paid for and sometimes people would rather go with a premium brand with higher quality or better experience even they will have to pay the extra money or in this case a Worse cable. Kinda like kia drivers always think ppl buying luxury cars dumb
This is the most asinine take I've seen so far this year. Bravo
I generally like anker products. But I have some long braided anker cords that various devices and wall plugs (including apple and anker) drop the charge and reconnect.

Are the cables significantly different in diameter? My USB4/thunderbolt cables are much more thick and stiff than other med-high bandwidth cables. They are much more difficult to deal with when being used outside of a dock or similar, otherwise I'd just buy all USB4/thunderbolt cables and not worry about compatibility for different devices.

The dimensions probably very similar between these two cables. If you're comparing USB 2.0 (480Mbps) cables to USB 5Gbps+ or Thunderbolt cables, the latter will always be thicker because they need to have at least an additional 8 signal wires to achieve those high speeds. In addition, 240W cables will be thicker than 60W cables because they need to meet the same voltage drop requirement at a higher current - thus thicker power wires. Some high-bandwidth cables are more flexible than others for sure, though.
