I hate sanding drywall - so these drywall sanders are a game changer. I'm not sure about the cordless versions, though, as it is something you're going to be spending considerable time with. My experience with cordless grinders is that they're good if you have some light touchup work, but for sustained grinding you're better off with a corded grinder. I have a feeling this would be the same. At the very least, use a high amp-hour 60V battery on it.

im not a pro but i got this one cheap. works great if you buy the dewalt vacuum attachment, easy to put on securely and easy to remove. it has more than enough power and works well with the cheap drywall sandpaper sold on amazon. main reason i bought it was because im a DIY person and new tools easily pay for themselves when i do all the work.

I got one of the $100ish corded models from Vevor. Actually 2 the first cratered on me but they replaced it with a new one. Both have amazing suction that if you purchase the brushed version, goes into an included dust bag which is a game changer. Running drywall dust into your W/D vac is a pain b/c you're having to change filters every 30 mins if not more. That bag does as good or better job than my Rigid vac and the tool pulls about 90-95% of the dust if not more. Just the dust collection aspect is worth the price, but it also slicks out your drywall. My drywall turned out so slick I may have to scuff it for paint to stick. It's so slick that a couple of flies tried to land on it and they'd just slide until the hit the adjacent wall. It's actually so slick, I've considered painting a portion of it a silver metallic so I won't have to purchase a vanity mirror, I'll just paint and polish again and have a deeper reflection than any mirror. Seriously though, it's pretty slick.
