The iPhone 17e looks like a budget iPhone with solid core specs, including the A19 chip, 256GB storage, MagSafe, and a screen that is still considered good. It is also described as close to the regular iPhone 17 and comparable to the iPhone 15 or 16, while the Spectrum bundle can make the overall internet and phone package unusually cheap. The main drawbacks are the 60Hz display, no UWB for AirTags or compatible car and lock features, and a camera that trails flagship models. Checkout problems also keep showing the phone at $599 instead of the advertised $199, so the deal depends on the plan details working correctly.
The iPhone 17e can add MagSafe support and a 256GB storage option compared with the 16e.
The iPhone 17e uses the same processor as the regular iPhone 17, which keeps performance closer than expected.
Spectrum's bundle pricing can include free 100 Mbps internet for life when porting four lines.
Spectrum's bundle math can work out favorably versus paying about $100 per month for 1 gig internet plus adding mobile lines.
The advertised $199 price can fail to apply in cart and checkout, with the iPhone 17e showing $599 instead.
The iPhone 17e lacks UWB, so it cannot provide precision finding for AirTags or hands-free unlock support.
The iPhone 17e is limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, which can feel less smooth than 120Hz phones.
The $199 offer may require a 36-month payment plan for new customers with two lines, and it may not apply in-store.

No 60 days to unlock. But honestly their cell service is great and their deals are ridiculous right now. Port in 4 lines for $120 a month get 100 Mbs internet for free for life. $140 for 1 GB symmetrical plus the 4 unlimited lines for life taxes and all included. Madness.

Yeah it's a great deal. I tihnk they have a two line deal as well, it's not as good but probably still beats your current gig internet.

After reviewing the current Spectrum deals, it looks like the 'new customer with 2 lines' offer only applies to 36-month payment plans. Even for existing customers, the '17e' deal with a 36-month plan (for both upgrades and new lines) comes down to $5.55/month, totaling $199.
I'm not sure if this applies to in-store purchases, but the online deals definitely seem to work that way.
The $200 trade in bonus is instant.
I wonder if it's because spectrum is offering 1 year free for mobile on my account? Am not sure
EDIT: Now I feel silly, you need to get a new internet plan as well PLUS 2 mobile lines lol

That's incorrect. That price is for new internet customers with two+ lines, and not for existing customers. It seems you did not even test the checkout process and spouting misinformation which wastes time for several readers here. Appreciate if you could test it out before posting such claims.
