For a few more bucks you can get the V6 which from what I can tell is basically the same but includes roll storage inside. It also comes with 2 rolls 8"x20' and 11"x20' which is probably worth the 5 extra bucks by itself.

I have another brand vacuum sealer that I love, it's got a lot of features.
The one thing I noticed when I do a bunch of sealing is the cheaper bags with smaller patterns on the one side do not work as well when the sealing surface is warm from doing multiple jobs. It tends to not allow the vacuum to build due to the bags closing up from the warmth.

I bought the foodsaver bags at Costco or Sam's and they are way better than the cheaper bags, especially if you plan on doing 10 or more double sealed bags.
That's just my experience.

Bought the V8 but be aware it's much larger in size. I didn't pay attention but it's footprint is the size of a toaster oven. Happy with it, 2 rolls and extra gasket.

So any of you guys have recommendation for vac sealers that can do "liquids". I make pasta sauce often but it's hard to seal the liquids as it always squeezes out. I have an older foodvac sealer which works fine for most things. A little slow but not bad. It's anything that is liquidy that it struggles with.

Curious how these cheaper sealers hold up long term. Do they still pull a good vacuum after a year or so, or do they start struggling with thicker bags? Thinking of using it for bulk Costco meat and meal prep but not sure if it's worth it vs spending more on a FoodSaver.
