I'm assuming it doesn't use 750w continuously (but probably close to it, so were going to go with that). For me, power is 43c/kWh (kill me), so were looking at 4 hours per gallon, 4x750w is 3kWh, 3x.43=$1.29.
Walmart sells distilled water, by the gallon, for $1.26. Now, if you live in most parts of the country where power is cheaper, it would save money (eventually). I would probably still pass.

I have one and LOVE IT! I was tired of running to stores trying to find distilled water for my C-Pap...I can't tell you how many times I would find it out of stock. I have solar so electric for me is not a factor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I complain when mine is at 16cents normally at 10 cents in Texas
