Bought 1 (different brand) a few years ago, still works
The material has sort of a slightly silky feeling, very smooth. When you are under it initially there is a cooling effect. The initial cooling effect lessens by maybe 50% after the first few minutes. It is cooler to the touch and cooler underneath vs regular blankets but do not believe that it will be significantly different. You will be able to feel the difference but it is not as great as they claim.
These "cooling" blankets are the same as the "cooling" sheets or pillows, they have a different style of weave that allows them to wick away body heat slightly more efficiently however there is an upper limit to how much they can wick away before the air pockets are saturated.

Tldr: Yes they will feel cooler but not as much as they claim

This is the one I bought

Under $20 is a very frequent sale price so this deal is not that special

I have one of these and they're nice. The material I believe is basically a nylon material. They really do feel cool overall and I've washed it maybe two dozen times and it still feels cool (I have a cotton blanket I use during colder months). I've had it for about two years and purchased it from a previous deal thread back in 2024.

I haven't purchased this specific brand, but as someone who runs hotter than the depths of non-existent hell, they are amazingly effective for our kind.

Same as some others have said, have one but not this brand. I like that it actually feels more breathable but with more weight than my sheets. I still will use a tower fan with it though if my room is above 70° F

I've used a couple variations of these cooling blankets and they 'work.' The fabric is a poor insulator so it absorbs a good amount of body heat when you first climb in it. They are a bit dense too so it absorbs a decent amount of body heat. Similarly it dissipates that heat a bit more than a conventional blanket. It doe's feel nice and cool but don't expect it to be like AC on a hot day. We still have to obey thermodynamics 😁.

So just got mine in... its a miss for me, because the cooling fabric is only one side of the blanket. The other side is regular almost microfiber feeling.
