I just got mine delivered and boy is that a slow phone. I plan on leaving it in the box till it gets unlocked and then selling it for $150ish.

I should get mine on Friday. I plan on doing the same thing. Question after 60 days mint will unlock phone..Do you have to register it to unlock? I plan on putting sim card in another phone. Thanks in advance for your reply

Curious to know this, too. Would prefer to sell or leave it in the box as a backup without ever activating it.

It says that it would get unlocked 60 days after activation so I figure you need to put a mint simcard in it. I had to give the IMEI number of the phone to the mint CS agent to make sure it gets unlocked.

Thanks. So in essence we have to open box physical put sim card and the additional information for the phone to be unlocked. After that I can physically remove sim and put it in the phone that I plan to use. I was hoping we could just keep it in the box.
