Community Reviews

This Milwaukee five piece oscillating blade set stands out as a strong value for basic cutting and narrow channel work, especially with the included Japanese hardwood blade and slim blade shape. The blades are described as pretty good and better than knockoffs, with comparable blades at Harbor Freight running about $4 each, making the set feel like a bargain around $14. Reported prices ranged from $12.39 to $19.88, and one price adjustment brought a prior $19 purchase down to the current deal level. A dependable small set if you want Milwaukee quality without paying full price.

I have the harbor freight ones and it seems they never cut through drywall like videos I've seen. Could it be the blades suck? I've tried titanium blades and ones made specifically for drywall no go. They don't cut driwall like butter and videos I've seen.

I'm only now learning the lesson but it is about angle and speed. Drywall is pretty rough on metal but any decent quality blade will serve it's purpose. My tips: don't go full throttle, use even pressure and (the biggest success for me), move at a slight angle. This gives the sheetrock dust and kibble a chance to get out of your cutting path. I was moving so slow I was basically oscillating the sheetrock to death. Changed tactics and the results are completely different
