Anyone got any ideas of if this is a great deal? I feel like this is pretty good for the specs, but if anyone has additional insights on this type of laptop and pricing, please LMK!

Yes this deal is pretty good with the exception of the display being FHD rather than a bit sharper and 300 nits brightness. I bought the Asus a16 2025 version which is older but comparable to this for 750 on best buy but the specs are not bad for this price

I just bought this laptop two weeks ago. It was $100 more at microcenter. It plays all the games that I play which are mostly RPGs first person shooters etc a couple AAA titles. It handles everything very well. I couldn't be happier. I did buy a 27-in screen to plug in and game on but I couldn't be happier

BestBuy doesn't appear to have the same model. The only Ryzen 350 HP Victus models have more RAM and are 3rd-party sellers with weird bundles.

I've been building PCS since 2005. Never buy an HP. Just don't. If you have any issues they will leave you high and dry.

What is better, if same specs and pricing: Lenovo or HP?

As someone who has bought gaming laptops by both companies, I would definitely recommend Lenovo. I bought an HP Omen laptop for my son, and one of the fans died within 18 months. HP used fans with a non-standard connector for the motherboard -- it was about half the height of a normal laptop fan connector -- but didn't have any in stock for weeks when I tried to buy a replacement. It literally took me a month and a half to source a replacement, and I had to get it used.My current gaming laptop is a Lenovo that I bought Black Friday before last and I could not be happier with it.

Yeah, also, go to eBay and look at the HP or Toshiba logicboards (laptop motherboard), THEN look at the same spec model for Lenovo. You'll notice right away that the Lenovo logic boards are most substantial and better build quality.

You ever wanna buy a laptop or phone, usually the parts for it for sale are VERY telling.
