Reviews are generally good though but yeah, a 4/5 overall. This is the lowest it's been in the last 5 years from what I can tell, with the average price this last year being $40. Around BF it was $34.

We have one of these. Isn't our favorite of the various steps we've bought, but it's fine. Probably our second favorite. A couple have been trash. Our favorite is effectively made out of cat tower materials with wood and carpet (not the newer fleece crap). But this plastic one is nice for the higher reach and wider steps.

If you have an elderly pet that needs help getting up and down from a bed safely, absolutely. We had 3 elderly cats and it was definitely a good buy. My 10 year old sits on it. I don't like it, but it's never collapsed and has held up just fine. Anything much cheaper than this price is garbage.

The one I like better is this one, but it's not as tall: https://a.co/d/0ihMw1C3

We have these stairs and they work for our 15 pound Shih Tzu as well as our 70 pound Husky. They don't wobble for either of them. We've had these exact stairs and they're still going strong since 2017. And both the dogs use them multiple times daily. I will be purchasing one for our guest bedroom. The price is slightly less than what it was when we purchased 9 years ago.

Anyone use these to help their dog get in and out of an SUV? (Highlander)

The steps are only 5" deep on the treads and is a bit wobbly. I have an older version of the same thing and 2 dogs will not go down these and 1 will not even go up. These are younger, ~20lb dogs, and I would not recommend.

What I did was purchase 2 3-step stair stringers that had a 10" tread where all the dogs are comfortable using. I know that's not an option for many to build it yourself, but just be aware some dogs may not want to use stairs that are so narrow.

Long time ago, made a ramp with a piece of a board and carpet stapled onto it for a 60+ lbs, blind dog to go up into 1 ton pick up truck. Thought steps would be hard for her. She did ok with the ramp.

We have a dog that unfortunately had a herniated disc. He had slept with us since a puppy Broke our hearts but we put a dog cushion beside our and after a few days he actually prefers it. Much safer to just keep them off the bed.

This looks like a bad idea for any dog that actually would need it.

The cushion is probably a much wiser idea for a dog. We had issues with our elderly cats still trying to jump/climb into bed and we had to pay attention and help so they didn't fall and get hurt. The steps did wonders for the two of the three that needed them.
