This is also eligible for the "33% off if you buy 4" coupon.

Highly recommend this or any other citric acid rinse- it makes a huge difference especially with hard water. Mixing citric acid powder in hot water is always the cheapest but of course it is unscented.

Scam. Look at the asterisked text in the 2nd slide. Basically, Tide used the worst generally-available detergent for their tests ("leading value detergent"). In other words, this is only useful if you use Dollar store detergents. It doesn't take a genius to realize that it helps to add any booster, e.g. bleach alternative, to a cheap detergent that has no additive. But buy a decent middle-tier brand, e.g. Arm & Hammer or Gain (both of which have boosters and enzymes), and you won't need this. Indeed, the main active ingredient, citric acid, is already in many detergents, e.g. Arm & Hammer. In fact, all its ingredients is already in most detergents. Check your present detergent if you don't believe me.

The second scam is odor removal. First of all, how often do you still have odors after using a decent detergent? Most already remove odors, e.g. baking soda neutralizes acidic odors, enzymes break apart organic odors, etc. And of course, virtually all detergents are scented. And that's the scam of most odor removers, e.g. Febreeze air freshener. More often than not, odors are being masked by perfume as much as they're being removed. And that's why this Tide product is scented. In fact, they even tell you to add Scent boosters as well!

Here are the ingredients, most of which are already in your detergent: "Cleansing Agent (Citric Acid), Water Softener (Sodium Citrate), Solvent (Propylene Glycol), Processing Aid (C12-16 Pareth), Stabilizer (Sodium Cumenesulfonate), Fragrances, Water."

Scam, scam, scam!

I get that they could just put this into the detergent and this is an opportunity to sell an additional product but this definitely helps with those funky odors that regular detergent doesn't remove. I use Tide and it doesn't always get the funky smells out of things like towels but this does..
