I just called Home Depot customer service to request a price adjustment. It turns out that the saw was delivered from my local store. I than requested to be reimbursed for the delivery charge since I would have gladly driven 10 minutes to pick it up.
Both requests were granted after the representative spoke with his manager and I was reimbursed $81 due to the change in taxes.
It never hurts to ask and being nice while working with customer service goes a long way.
Even with the fee - excellent saw!
