Screw it, I'm in for this too. I've got pneumatic versions of both of these, but battery powered is SO much more convenient. Can't resist this price for an easy upgrade

It's OK. The Impact is adequate. The ratchet is kind of big, which might create access issues. If I was buying an impact today, I'd probably go with the 3/8" Brushless Compact. It has more torque and is much smaller. I think that impact is $99 right now. Then I'd skip the ratchet and just use a good manual one. I mean, how often are you going to be wrenching on cars?

Excellent deal. I Have both but from a few years ago and piece mealed.
First the ratchet on deal, then the 1/2" wrench on deal.
Great at rotating my truck tires. The ratchet is great at bolting down heavy duty bolts into fence posts for decks and fence posts extensions. Even used it remove a stuck bolt on my kids bicycle.
Completely worth it.

This is a legit good deal. The impact is great for lug nuts, I still default to manual ratchets but it is nice to have the electric version.

I'm not saying if these are what you need or not. But I'd proceed with caution. These are the plain brushed versions of these tools. They are OK ish. If you watch the sales, you can probably do quite a bit better for not much more. I paid around $80 bucks for the brushless mid-torque impact wrench at Direct Tools on a sale.. It's awesome. Has 450 Ft lbs fastening and over 600 ft lbs breakaway torque. Considerably more then that with a 9ah battery that I use. Plus it has a tri-light on the front. Also bought bought a Ryobi brushless long-neck 4-position ratchet 2-pack that included both 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch for $179 which was even cheaper after home depot 10% off coupon. Making them just over $80 each. The 3/8 inch has 55lbs of torque verses just 35lbs on this model. That extended reach is also extremely useful. I never use my regular one anymore.

for cordless ratchet its not so much about the power but the awkward shape and how heavy it is. ridgid version is a bit more slim. and m12 is the best feel if you invested in m12.
