For Chrome, open incognito page, chose I need a new number, chose $55 plan, enter your zip, hit get new number, hoover your mouse to the top right area near the X then message for coupon will pop up, works for me every time. These $25 off coupon works for only new customer, won't work for existing customer option. I can give you a code if you can't generate one.

With that said it may make be a good idea to get your cricket pin and account number before getting rid of the phone in case a another deal comes where you need a number to port out although i don't know how long the PIN will be valid. To address this issue after activating all my phones i transferred their esim to an iphone16 in storage that way if I need an auth code to validate my cricket account i just need to activate that specific line on demand and without the phone i purchased from them.
Is there re-activation fee of an account that was inactive with cricket?

coupon doesn't work for port in, you have to chose "I need new number" option.

No. It's supposed to be before checkout entirely. And I think that you can only apply it if you get one phone, if you get more than one it just vanishes
