T-Mobile 30 day eSIM Trial on T-Life App you can port it out for free. I got 4 phones to use on trials from Straight Talk/Total Wireless deals unlocked in last 3 years.

After get Free Trial Number create a T-Mobile ID: Use the T-Mobile website to link your trial number to a email/profile.

Locate Account Info: Your account number in the "Account Summary" section of the online portal. Generate a Port PIN: Under Settings in Profile

For Chrome, open incognito page, chose I need a new number, chose $55 plan, enter your zip, hit get new number, hoover your mouse to the top right area near the X then message for coupon will pop up, works for me every time. These $25 off coupon works for only new customer, won't work for existing customer option. I can give you a code if you can't generate one.

I'm going to wait few more days before I head to apple store to trade in 3 iphone 13 and two 16e. Maybe then try placing order for 5th lines iphone 13 for $40.

Anyone know if Apple stores take Samsung Galaxy S25 trade in (in person), and if so, how much? It's not listed on Apple's trade in list. I think I saw S25 in the list several weeks ago, with a value around $300 (don't remember exactly, but I feel like I have seen it in the list, or maybe I am mistaken?)

any hint how to request port out pin from Mobile X ?
Under the app, go to Access, then towards the bottom is where you can cancel and port out. $3 will be charged before they'll give you the PIN.

It seems most of these cancellations are coming off from Helium, Trial T-mobile, and Mobilex port ins. Has anyone got order cancelled for other providers like Metro, Lyca, Total, etc? I think I tried to read most of the thread, and I get a feeling these providers should not lead to order cancellations (unless Lyca gets delayed due to its stupid login issues)
I tried visible as well. Didn't help.

Curious if I could just trade in the phone to Apple fresh out of the box? Or does it need to be actually activated
You should definitely activate the phone before trading in so that you fulfill the fine print in cricket's terms and conditions. You don't want them coming after you or blacklisting you. Only takes a few minutes to activate. If you bought more than one phone, you can activate all of the lines at once after creating an online account. To create the online account you must open a box and activate one of the phones because you get a text message to the new phone number or ported number with a pin in order to create the account.

Both phone that was successfully traded in IMEI still attached to the phone number, the one got rejected I move the esim to an android phone.
Thanks for the DP.

For, the phone that had IMEI still attached to the phone number, I'm assuming you would have just did a factory reset before doing the trade-in and post trade-in went ahead with cancelation at Cricket?

yeah I just factory reset the phone and remove esim, didn't cancel with Cricket, all 3 lines still active in my Cricket account.

Are you asking? Because you can just enter 0000 and it goes through

i did go through and successfully placed the order, but they cancelled within a minute sayin g"not able to verify the information"....so suspecting that it could be because of ssn since someone above said that they entered their correct ssn

I plan to trade in my iPhone 16e with Google. After reading the current comments, it seems that to avoid any issues, I should not transfer the number to another phone.
Trade in value went down today. You might want to recheck trad in values on the 16e and 13.

The cancellation has nothing to do with the ssn.
