Can anyone confirm max lines per cricket account? Also max of discounted 16E appears to be 2 or 3 per account for online? Has anyone maxed online and then went to store to add more 16E?

For everyone asking if Apple will take carrier-locked phones for trade-ins, I have confirmed the answer is YES, as long as the phone is paid off.
Just got 4 17e's in-store at a local Cricket B&M store yesterday, all new lines. All required 1 month of prepaid $60 service per line. Had to negotiate down the BS fees so the total out the door ended up being $700 for 4. I then immediately walked across the street to the Apple store and traded in 3 for $930 of Apple gift cards and the 4th applied as a trade-in for a new iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB with a trade-in value of around $360. So instead of $1300 paid $700. It took them about an hour to do all the trade-ins and give me the new phone at the Apple store.
The Cricket website will only sell you 2 at the deal price per address. It comes to $306 for my first 2 phones in the online order but they block any further orders at the final stage of checkout if it's the same address.

Kudos to OP and whoever discovered this fun and convoluted loophole for a half price iPhone hack!

Glad you got some savings, but ouch. That's why people are ordering online.

I'm curious of people's experiences submitting trade-ins to Apple via online/ship-to with deals like this (vs. taking into a store). I assume 9/10 times it's fine, yeah? Worst case if they reject & offer to recycle you can just choose to have them shipped back to you right?

yes, relatives address.

Tried multiple devices and browsers with wifi and mobile data. Under what internet/device did you got sucess and what type of purchase (new vs port in) you had?

I am also trying for 4th & 5th lines. Tried one 16e new number and one 13 port in, also tried with two 13 - one new & one port in. Changed name. address, phone using PP balance, no luck.
The port in is from Metro, not sure if it has anything to do with that.
Did you tried port in or new number?
Both port in.
Quote from snoopys :
which carrier you used to port?
Both numbers from mobileX on the 75 talk/text plan.

Where are you getting numbers from to port, or are they legitimate numbers you're moving to cricket?

Ughhh did I just get punked/ lied to by an Apple Store employee. Never did this trade in for GC thing before. I walked in there had 5 iPhones spoke to the first Apple nerd I saw and said I wanted to trade 5 iPhones for all GCs. Then he gave me me some Spiel about "we can help you recycle them. But we can't take them if you bought them to specifically trade in". He just saw me with 5 iPhones didn't check which models or anything, which was 2 16es and 3 i13s btw. So I just left. Thinking about going back there with only 1/2 seperate trips possibly family members next time for a better shot. Was this just an employee getting annoyed by so many people likely doing this deal? Should I have asked to speak to superior or something?
You got a lazy employee that saw what you were doing and didn't want to help. I've opened phones from Walmart in the car, got them past the setup screens without logging in and walked into the Apple store to trade up to 5 at a time. Never an issue. It's a process, but they've always been happy to do it. Don't walk in with sealed iPhones.

Most of the time trading it in by shipping goes smoothly. Worst case scenario is the phone gets stolen in transit and Apple never receives the phone all they get is an empty box! Someone mentioned this earlier and this thread that it happened to them. Other than that, if they find something wrong with the phone yes they will ship it back to you if you want.

Wondering what the cost would be to use Apple's box but go to the post office and pay for shipping with insurance as that might be a reasonable option.

If it's the 1st line with the 2 months service, you can downgrade after the 1st month is up, (starting with the 3rd month)
I understand Cricket phone will be unlocked with 6 months of service. I have it with 1 month service, can I use a cheaper plan in the next 5 months to fulfill the unlock requirement?
