So-so today, but I did manage to get something.
16e as new customer, $120, and 13 for $75.
Would have gotten another 16e, but he sold out. So went to another store, spent around an hour waiting, had to wait for owner to come in as trainee was confused, then was told that we were only allowed two phones on one acct for the promo, so he couldn't apply it. I was told by the other store we could have four. So... I would have been better off not getting the 13.
But you got 2 more added to an existing acct, and at $40? I wonder what the actual rules are...
Was told to try to order online w/ this newly made acct, and thought about it, but I noticed the rep at the first store somehow managed to spell my name wrong (even though he had my ID). And it's a simple name.
So no idea if that would even work, since my acct's name won't match my payment name now.
Anyone came across this situation? Any suggestions for higher gamestop trade in value? Is there a way to get gamestop pro membership for less than $5, temporarily, as pro members get 10% extra trade in value.
Anyway, I did not see the screen that the employee was typing into, yet they told me that they marked it as pristine. The cash price on the website before I went into the store said $188, but for whatever reason they gave me 195 cash. I was just looking tonight on their website and the cash price is down to $155 for pristine condition. Obviously the actual price paid is a YMMV by GameStop. They did tell me that if I know the phone number of somebody who is a pro member, that they can use that to give me an additional 10% on the price of the phone.

I shipped the iphone 13 to apple $195 gift card they use 2 day air UPS with $100 insurance included. The shipping label shows my name and address as sender to claim it. Still Evaluating after 5 days.
I got two 16es and two 13s. On the same day of activation I went to an Apple Store and one of each got approved. I tried to use the third as trade in for AirPods and that one triggered. Not sure if that's related or coincidence. The rep said it was good on her diagnostic but the one that the tech did showed unauthorized parts. In fact, they said all 4 had issues, and the first two GCs were mistakes, but let me keep them as an exception because I already signed the receipt and had it with me.
I tried explaining they are brand new, but they blamed Cricket.
I tried another Apple Store today, and it worked flawlessly, the same two that were rejected yesterday.
I would recommend not trying to trade in for a product, and waiting a day after activation. Maybe it's unrelated, but who knows.
If it fails, try another store, it worked for me. Maybe the tech on the first one never put it in the system?
