For Chrome, open incognito page, chose I need a new number, chose $55 plan, enter your zip, hit get new number, hoover your mouse to the top right area near the X then message for coupon will pop up, works for me every time. 2 16e's delivered on 9th March and rest 2 16e's delivered on 12th March activated all of them on same day, today took all of 4 to apple store for gift card trade-in 310 each in and out in 15 minutes I did not even transfered or removed the esim the employee himself formatted the phone's.

traded 20/20 today no problem across a few different apple stores

zero issues at all aside from one coming back as having a visual defect that wasn't there, said it was due to there scanner being sensitive and manager processed an override for that one phone

I think Apple has suppliers or assemblers problem with non-genuine parts or perhaps firmware/token problem. For people with "Unauthorized modification detected" when tried to trade in at the Apple store, can you share where your iPhone 16e assembled in (India, Brazil, etc.)?

Assembly country may be found inside the USB-C charging port, on the box, or Settings > General > Legal and Regulatory (scroll all the way to the bottom).

I went to Apple today and successfully traded in (3) 16e's (2 from Cricket and 1 from Metro) along with an iPhone 12 and iPad. The Metro one I could not even get to activate online. Customer service told me to go to a store which would charge me to help. I said F that and just traded it in to Apple. My question is now will I be able to order another 16e on my Cricket account? I ordered first one online and the 2nd one was purchased in store. Will I be able to order a 3rd one to actually use online? It would be $140 for me if Cricket will let order go through. Tried to get one in store today after the first one cost me $105. Same lady helped me said it would be $135 with tax this time because the promotions had changed. I just walked out.
