She mentioned the store deal is valid until April 2. So I hope to go back one more time for another 16e. But that was my 5th line (I ported out 1 line but that still shows up on the account even after porting out, adding to the lines count. So maybe I'll create a new account with new Moto Stylus as the first line, then go back to the store for 16e.
I now have two 16e, one being the $0 "unauthorized modifications" phone. I'll try apple store first and if it passes, I'll trade for a 17 pro using my 3 previous gift cards. If not, gamestop.
As of Saturday, Cricket started being more restrictive of port-in numbers they'll accept. That's probably why people are seeing full price in-store, not quantity limits. (See "iPhone 16e fraud" thread in r/CricketWireless)
The promo didn't apply for my unlimited Fi lines. It would be crazy if Lyca still worked.
"I worked for cricket for 3 years, where i worked, we had a large group of people that would come in, every single time there was an iphone sale with a port, theyd port a new number, didnt matter if there was a sale last week and they got a new phone, they would come in, port a new number, then, coulle weeks later, another sale would happen, and they would bring yet another number to port. Hell, some people did it monthly. And last months number was still with cricket. So yeah, it happens. Its gotten to the point, Apple has flagged a lot of Iphones for trade in that were purchased from Cricket. Because people would come in, port a number, then take it to Apple and trade it in, or try to go sell it through like a eco atm. It does happen, we had one guy tell us thats what he did, we were obviously able to deny him service after that point. But, it does happen, the general public just doesnt see it."

This can somehow explain the Trade-in problem

What are you going on about? I've had this account for years, and I can guarantee I got more phones than anyone in this thread. I have zero incentive to spread misinformation.
That said people should be aware of the issues that are going on. The majority of people are not having any issues, but there are a few people having issues with either a) trading in the phones or b) using the gift cards after the phones were traded in. I'm not sure what you would accept as proof, but just because it did not happen to you does not mean it isn't happening.
That's a pretty good deal, if I'm correct, no?
