Do these have battery management in the tool? I think Dewalt 20v line has the BMS in the tool, not in the battery like some other tool lines. Does anybody know if this will over discharge a dewalt battery and damage it?

Only battery platform I know of that is built into the battery is Ryobi.

This is for the DeWalt battery. They work well but I'm not sure about this particular model. You do have to thin paint a bit. People even home spray old cars with them. Mine works with Milwaukee batteries. I read reviews until I found one that people said "painted my whole house with it". Or painted my bedroom, office etc. Most other models i looked at most people said "light duty" or good for spraying stain.
I noticed the "cheeper" plastic tips spray house paint better than the brass tips. Probably because the plastic tips end up with larger holes with use and cleaning. Keep them clean.

Wow, this could be a painful tool to own after it wipes out my expensive DeWalt lithium batteries! I ordered this sprayer yesterday and opened it up just now to look inside. No BMS in this. No low voltage cutoff. I'll save my batteries from immediate damage and stick with a corded or air operated sprayer. Maybe a great price on this deal. But those dang tool batteries are between $60 and $150 each. Hurts my head to think that products like this are being sold to consumers who have no idea it can wipe out your battery pack's cells. Had my hopes up. Going to return it.
