You'd get grounds on the outside which would wash down into the cup. I have something similar to this, but the pourer flips down tongs-style. I don't see this being any better. It is nice to keep the coffee in a resealable jar and just use reuseable k-cups.

I think the whole concept of refilling k cups is a misnomer. It's a no mess (!!!) mediocre tasting coffee option. If you have coffee beans and a grinder pour over will provide so much better coffee.
