They do not. I have tested Roku, Firestick, Ooomm and Apple TV, trapping DNS lookups with pi-hole and inspecting packets using Wireshark. What Apple does capture is mundane analytics that would not be of much use to a data broker. Meanwhile, HiSense is capture full-on screenshots twice per second, along with a lot of other data around your viewing proclivities. Not only are they violating your privacy, they're chewing up a lot of your bandwidth and slowing down your network.
