Is it worth getting this and downgrading from slightly better picture quality of my LGCX 77 inch OLED for my Home Theater? This is pretty much projector size at my seating distance of only 8 feet away... insane how TVs are one of the few commodities that continuously get cheaper and simultaneously bigger/better

How much do you value black levels and contrast? Do you watch a lot in the dark or is it usually in a bright room? I haven't read any reviews but I doubt this would get near the black levels of an OLED panel. Personally I don't like seeing blooming around bright objects on a dark background that usually comes with led, mini or otherwise. If you usually watch sports or similarly "bright" programming maybe it won't make that big of a difference if you move off of OLED.

You will see significant inferior performance. Very noticeable.
I would prefer the $1499 TCL 100 inch in Costco than this U6.

"Slightly better picture"... Dude. Your CX does not have "slightly" better picture. It has significantly better picture. I have a 65" C2, but I would rather have a 48" B2 over this. OLED is in a league of its own. Not to mention the Hisense U6 is a big step down from the U7 and U8. There's a reason this is so cheap.
