I used to be C clamp guy, then I encountered pistons that had to be rotated to compress them.

I just noticed your edit... those sound like electronic parking brakes? an electronic tool to put them in service mode if theres no built in service mode function. you can also jumper the motors to retract them in a pinch with 12v... but it takes a little more skill.
I know for a fact this kit doesn't have the right inserts for a lot of ford ebrakes, especially trucks

Wish I could just use a c clamp as everyone claims but that only works for the front brake pads lol. Rear we have to use this friggin tool lol
Not sure what brake service/maintenance mode is but on my Euro car I'm unaware of such mode. Cool if you don't need this tool though.
