If the app allows you to do it, you're not scamming anyone, you're taking advantage of a software engineer not adding the $.20 verde packet to a list of exclusionary items.
Pretty much any time a place does the "free with any purchase" promo, it's pretty standard for deal hawks to try adding the lowest priced shit and seeing if it works. This time, it works. Usually it does not.
"Scam" is frankly ridiculous, clickbaity phrasing, and while it's nice to see it's got the appropriate score, I hope this is not a pattern forming
