Might wanna somehow reflect 2.5Gbps in the title. If this were just gigabit it wouldn't be slick at all. For 2.5Gbps from a recognizable brand I guess its a TU.

I have a managed Netgear switch going strong for years but also have had Netgear switches fail. Never had a d-link or tp-link switch fail.

The Ubiquiti, especially if you're already in the ecosystem. It's managed, and can be powered via PoE, too.. Got mine a few weeks ago and it's been solid so far.

Get the UniFi. As much as I dislike Ubiquiti for their abandoning of older hardware by cutting off software support, they do make good switches at a reasonable price. I won't buy UniFi APs going forward since they've screwed us over twice by cutting off software updates, but I will buy their switches.

Just out of curiosity what APs did you have that they discontinued updates for? My old UAP-AC-Lite was still getting updates after 6-7+ years when I replaced it a few months ago.

Can it be configured locally, or only through the cloud? (which depends on an Internet connection, which might be what you're trying to fix... or maybe you just want to be able to make changes even after the cloud stops supporting this model)

A quick search on Amazon showed a cheap 5 port 2.5gb and an addition 10gb SFP port for $26.59. I'll give that a try. Hope it's not hacked already. Look for goodtop.

If you don't have a Unifi Controller (e.g. one of their recent gateways like the ucg-max or ucg-fiber), you'd need to run it on a server. You can do it in a docker container.

The switch in this deal is not a managed switch, so it has no management capability whatsoever.
The Ubiquiti IS a managed switch, but it doesn't have a built-in management UI, hence needing to run the unifi controller service to manage it.

Ubiquiti has a long history of quickly dropping products for various reasons, leaving people with expensive doorstops. I had about a dozen in wall AC Pro APs that they stopped selling and stopped support for less than a year after I bought them. They offered no discounted upgrades to all the people they screwed on that one.
The MFi product line was relatively short lived.
The Edge product line died a slow painful death. Quietly abandoned before finally being officially declared EoL.
There's more, but those are the ones that bit me.
