This is after getting the 9 Pro nearly free when Best Buy had silly trade-in deals to pre-order 2 summers ago. So I guess I now expect a nearly free Pixel every 18 months.
Community Reviews
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL deal was strongest when the $400 Play code stacked with in cart discounts and trade in credits, driving upgrades into the $50 to $150 range and, in a few cases, even lower with Google One or Google Store credit. That made the 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL feel like unusually cheap upgrades, especially for higher storage models. The main catch was that stacking later stopped working, with codes replacing other promos or failing at checkout. A few orders were still honored, but the window appears to have closed.
Common Questions (5)
It initially stacked with in-cart Pixel 10 Pro/Pro XL discounts and some Google Store credits, but the stacking was later turned off and the $400 code can replace other savings instead of combining with them. Several orders that showed stacked pricing at first stopped stacking at checkout or later in the day.
The final price can drop very low with a strong trade-in: examples include about $50 for a Pixel 10 Pro after trading a Pixel 9, $75 plus tax for a Pixel 10 Pro XL after trade-in, and $92 for a 256GB Pixel 10 Pro after trade-in. One 512GB Pro XL came out to $398 after discount, trade-in, and the $400 coupon.
Yes, the purchase can also earn or use Google credit in some cases, including a $50 Google Store credit from Google One and 10% store credit worth about $55 on a Pro XL purchase. Some buyers also used existing Google Store credit to bring the out-of-pocket total down further.
Some stacked orders were placed before stacking was disabled, and at least one of those orders later shipped. Others were still waiting on trade-in credit, so fulfillment appears to depend on whether the order was accepted before the stacking change.
Yes, the code appears tied to the Google account that received the offer, and it may require the same account to be signed into Google Store and Play Points. That means shared codes are unlikely to work for another account.

1. $150 off pixel 10a coupons
2. $100 off pixel 10a coupons
3. $400 off pixel 10 pro or pro xl
Edit: Deal done with they without issues.
I have the $400 from Play and with trade in on my 256gb P9P XL I'm showing an all-in price of $388. While not necessarily a "bad" price, feels like from what I'm seeing in the comments, some are doing better.

Aren't these codes TIED to the specific Google account from which they are offered?
Previously you even had to be logged into Google Store on Chrome with the same account as your Play Points account.
