You don't need this tool for the toyota highlander. Just need turn your wheel out, remove passenger tire, unbolt the splash guard panel, then get your 3/8" socket & pull back the tensioner enough to put the hex wrench in the hole, which allows enough slack to pull the belt off and install a new one.

This is completely irrelevant to the post lol. This is a universal tool, not specific to a highlander.

Before buying this tool for your next repair please watch a video of someone doing the repair. Similar to the Highlander mentioned, a lot of cars just need a well placed open ended wrench. You might benefit more having a larger wrench in the long run than a dedicated tool for one job. I purchased this tool for a Mazda CX5 and it was unnecessary.

You can get these from Autozone as a loan-a-tool as well.
