I have a similar if not the same set. Solid but note that mine at least cannot be reversed to spread.
I bought a set 2 years ago that could be reversed in the easy you described. I think I got 2 sets for $20 each.
A tad better than Harbor Freight clamps, but not amazing. They've done a good enough job that I'm happy with them though. Even $27 is pretty good for this many clamps.
10/7/25 - For Dell or Alienware Branded monitors, please lead with Dell.com if they have the same price. -Dima
6/11/25 - 3rd party merchants need 50 ratings when FBA, and 250 when self fulfilled

these are very good clamps, couldn't be happier with them, they are very strong, they have the same thick i-beam style metal bar as these irwins, but with even quicker clamp to spreader switch buttons. Elead is a legit good company. I would go this route unless you really like the pincher quick clamps for veneers or something
pro tip is to keep 4 12 inch clamps like these in your vehicle so you can bust them out when you're carrying lumber in assistance to straps, you will not have to worry about things slipping out the middle of your bundle after hitting some bumps. bundle tight, strap tight, and then clamp!

Interesting. These have good reviews but apparently get returned frequently. What's wrong with them? Or do unscrupulous customers return them after using them?
i got this exact set a decade ago from HD for probably $20
one top right [_] grip failed right away, but the rest held up well.
beside projects, i use mine to keep vibrating appliances in place.
the rubber feet can slide off, so be mindful of where they are
when you finish a project, so you don't misplace them.

Good price for the multi pack; I use these often... very high quality and solid workhorse. Often I use 4 at a time so 2 orders is my recommendation - I would buy more but I have enough

I don't know, they are great they are very strong. Strongest clamps I've ever had in this size. As long as you have that i-beam metal, you got a strong clamp that doesn't flex

That aside, Irwin makes fantastic clamps.
