i got this same set long ago at home depot for $20
the yellow shoes pop off easy (can set them back on) and one of the spring clamps cracked after little use due to it's brittle plastic, but if you are a honey do list diy'er such clamps come in handy in ways you have yet to imagine.
for posters who can't imagine what to do with these; right now i have one clamped to an open window frame to help secure and catch my 16" window fan in case is vibrates loose and falls over. last week i had to hole saw into a metal plate, so i used 2 clamps to hold the plate stationary against my wire shelving while i worked with the drill. the week before i used a clamp to hold a cracked vacuum cleaner part aligned together so the super glue i used would cure properly, i often use a clamp like a cable wrap to keep excess extension cord out my way during chores... it never ends.
What are something a DIYer can do with these around the house?
Alot of things I fix with epoxy I use these to clamp it together. I often reglue shoe bottom sole grip and use theses to hold it together. You can clamp a straight edge on a board to guide your circular saw. Alot of times its because I work alone, and don't have a second hand, so if something needs to be held on the other end, the clamp can usually do it.
