nice build for the price, but when upright it reaches up to my neck. Not recommended for anyone over 5'10. Easy to install.

Just received and set mine up last night. Did a little workout with it afterwards. As far as putting together, it was pretty simple for the most part. I would say it's fairly sturdy. I found the adjusting easier to be done than previous reviews suggested. The headrest is on the short side, definitely agree with previous comment that it's more ideal for 5'8 and under but I could make it work at 5'11. I'd say my biggest complain is the bench comfort itself, it really lacks in that department, especially if you are doing ab crunches. That being said, a high end bench would run $250-500 easy so for $60, I would recommend this for the "casual" home gym. I should specify, I would recommend this for anyone 6' or under and 200ish lbs or less. Any taller or heavier and I'd start to get nervous about potential injuries, especially with heavy weights. Would recommend a more solid/ supportive bench for those individuals.

Can anybody recommend a good value weight bench for those who are on the taller side, say 6"?

The measurements show about 800 mm or 31.5" for the back and neck rest combined. Is that not accurate in the description? I just measured for myself at 6' and it would support my head in a seated position.

So when flat or incline or decline it's better? Just fully upright where the 5'8" cut off seems to be?
Good question.
You can find the answer in the product images.

I was honestly perplexed by this comment and almost decided not to purchase because of it. I am 6'1", and after putting it together, the bench extends about 1–2 inches above the middle of my head where it rests comfortably.
It seems like someone around 6'4" could use it comfortably and still have a little room to spare. The only situation where height might be an issue would be a full inverse decline where your head is near the floor. Otherwise, it works great.

Are you sure you purchased this specific one and installed the extension part that adds about 4" to the head rest area?

It is pretty darn good. Other ones are shorter and I just built mine and it is great for the price. Also this one has a higher weight limit that other $60 models. I wont ever use anything near the weight limit but it is nice that it says such a high amount.

If you are not looking to die while doing bench presses don't buy a 60.00 bench.
I mean maybe if you bench the bar on flat bench press.
