IMO I think no one really needs a level 3 and that level 2 is fine for most. I have a fully adjustable frame and extremely rarely use the leg/foot up option and just raise the back a tad when sleeping.

I can see if for people who have a medical condition and maybe have to keep there legs elevated while sleeping for circulation but I'm sure you can also mitigate that much cheaper with like a pillow or something
edit: I misread that, thought level 2 didn't have that functionality, so yeah, you're probably right

Depends on the mattress, but generally if it has individually wrapped (pocketed) coils and not "tied" coils then you should be able to. I wouldn't do it too extreme though.

I don't have this brand but basically have a level 3. And I will say the massage function (in the wave preset) helps me get to sleep. Its also great for watching tv and such.

Also there are others brands that have a seperate massage for the leg area and I think more articulation in either the head or foot area.

Level 3 has a massage feature, so it may be needed for some people. I have the Sam's Premium and I use the message feature every night but it has dual zone massagers

I've always found the massage feature (just vibrates the bed) to be a tad annoying so I unplugged the motors on mine lol
