The only problem with these rechargeable flashlights (apart for QC/QA) is that the battery is not replaceable and of the cheapest kind and lowest capacity. I had one of these and it did not take long for it to stop holding charge. Not that it held it for very long to begin with. I have switched back to the AAA kind, which also gives me a use for the batteries I piled up. I would say about 5-6 charge cycles for one replacement, and they are brighter too. Maybe I got a couple of rechargeable duds, but I am not impressed with these, in any way other than their size. Good luck.

Negative reviews mention light is more like 400-500 lumens not "High Lumens". You get what you pay for imo.
Copilot said it was 1000 lumens on high. Lasts 10 hours I couldn't find it listed anywhere on my own. It has a medium setting lasts 24 hours.

"The battery is sealed and not user-replaceable". What a joke, more junk. Spend the same amount of money or a few bucks more and get a 18650 light..

Folks, if you want a cheap flashlight, do yourself a favor and get a Sofirn SC13.

https://slickdeals.net/f/19241947-sofirn-sc13-rechargeable-edc-flashlight-1300-lumens-free-s-h-new-user-welcome-deal-7-69

I'd rather have one SC13 than a dozen of these "zoomable" no name flashlights.
A few things.

For one: I agree that unless you have need to sprinkle some flashlights around the house, cars, whatever - or the flashlight will be used by someone one prone to losing things (like a kid) - a good flashlight at 2-3x the price is better than a cheap one.

For two: that price is only if you're a new AE customer, which I'm guessing the vast majority of us are not (and AE is really good at flagging duplicate accounts). The SC13 goes on sale pretty often for $12-15, but that's almost always for the SST40 variant and a lot of people (myself included) much prefer the 519A emitter because it has more flood and the CRI is much higher. The SST40 is gross, which is part of the reason it's on sale more often.

For three: it's not an entirely fair comparison with the deal in this one. The SC13 uses an 18350 rather than 18650 battery. I, for one, want to minimize my battery types, not add more. Folks are far more likely to have multiple 18650s. Also, a lot of people would rather have a flashlight that fits the hand better than the smaller SC13.

The SC13 is a fine light and sure, for $5-8 or whatever it's on sale for, it's a great deal. I just think that if we're using the argument of spending more for "better" (with the understanding that "better" is subjective in some ways), I'd rather spend $19 (or less for new customers) on the Wurkkos FC11C: https://slickdeals.net/f/19264915-existing-aliexpress-customers-wurkkos-fc11c-nichia-519a-1200-lumen-flashlight-or-less-for-new-customers-free-s-h-19-29

For one: I have a stack of SC13s, not including the ones I've given away to family and friends, and I've purchased all of them for between $3-$7 using one account on AliExpress. If you know anything about AliExpress, you know you're a maximum of 1-2 weeks away from a sale, and they offer coupons and store credit like candy if you use their app (it's not available on their website).

For two: most people don't care what battery is inside because it's USB-C rechargeable. Most people will never open the light to check the battery type.

For three: I have FC11s as well. If you want a bigger light with similar output, it's great. I prefer something smaller/lighter to stick on a fridge or stuff into a tight pocket.
