This one is not reset-free.

Depends on your priorities.

Right off the bat, Anker offers 18-24 month warranties on their products, and US-based customer support. A known quantity.

Baseus, if you dig hard enough, seems to match that period, though neither the Amazon listing nor their own site's listing [baseus.com] touts it. And when you do find it [baseus.com], it doesn't specify what product is covered, for what term. That's not to say that, as someone experienced above, it's not good, but the less than 100% clarity does leave some room for wiggling, or doubt, depending on which side of the fence you reside on.

As far as the product itself, it appears to be attractive, and offer features at a price and value point that Anker does not.

However, one tester found that when used as intended, and put to the test, it throttled down to 80W [reddit.com] after 20 minutes. Another found that their example shut down entirely [tinkervault.com] after a half hour.

And like its smaller brother, the compact 67W model, it gets hot, which is understandable give that model's size, but this one does as well.

The first tester also found that it was glitchy in negotiating PPS connections.

Those who will use this mostly with phones, tablets, or less demanding laptops might not notice these deficiencies. But for those who intend to use it at full rated capacity, there are probably better options. And in that high power class, it's also better to buy more than you need, because those adapters can't escape the laws of physics either, and can similarly suffer throttling of their own.

No doubt, this is an intriguing option, but not without caveats, and I concur with the opinion above that if you're not the curious type, or treat these things as sort of a hobby, it might be wiser to pass.

I have stuff from brands like Baseus and Orico, from years ago when they mainly targeted the Asian market and had yet to make a big effort to sell to the Western markets.

They are genuine, reputable brands, and not simply white-label resellers, and on the whole do offer some compelling stuff.

But I don't think they've reached the level of consistency and reputation that brands like Anker have achieved, just yet, anyway. Some hits, some misses, and more so than the best brands.

Addendum: ATOP's instrumented testing of this Baseus [youtube.com] showed his unit lasted 26 minutes at full power.

As far as I can tell, this item is actually free if you dont use the coupon, otherwise it applies the discount across both. Getting it free is the better deal if you need 2 (extra $5.99 off).

As far as I can tell this doesn't stack with the coupon.
Extra one came to 17 so like 47 total before tax for the 100w one.

Just tried again and it's now 57 after coupon. Guess it was a glitch.

For what it's worth, I got a battery pack from them. It conked out on me but they very quickly gave me a full refund after reaching out and sending them a video of the issue. So their support is very good.

I've been on the fence with the baseus brand, but went ahead and ordered this one. For $30 with a display seems like a good price point for now.

The Anker display one for $30, which may have better internals, was only 30 watts with one USB output.

If you don't need it or aren't curious, probably better to wait. I'm sure prices will eventually keep trickling down as more brands offer chargers with displays.

Just following up on this post after using the charger for 3 weeks. It does do 65 watt Samsung super fast charging 3.0 on a Samsung S26 Ultra from either of the 2 USB c ports, which is great and at $30, can't ask for more.

100 watts + Screen + 3 ports + folding prongs + safety certifications + Samsung super fast charging 3.0 + included 5 amp 100 watt usb-c cable

"The promotional code you entered is not valid" on both the 100W and 140W models, but that might be because I'm trying to apply it on an Amazon Business Prime account. Or perhaps because it's now April and this was posted in March.
