These are rebranded SRNE models. They are deployed all over the world under different brand names and are generally considered as reliable. A minimum 2 can provide 240V (120 each in split phase). They use about 75W @idle each.

Anyone know what the AC-on/idle consumption is like on these?
(curious, because my Growatt 3000W is about 45W continuous, which is a pretty serious drain - which means if you want it running 24/7 you need over 1kWh/day just for keeping the inverter on)

Do this for 376. 6x of their 410 panels for 960 and a 16kw battery for 1650 gets you a lot more specs than competing all in one units (that dibt include solar panels or anywhere close to 16kw)

So, Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware that this is not an SRNE rebrand. This is NOT UL listed meaning that you will not get permit approval if you use this inverter. You would have to purchase the 5KW inverter that is 120V only but does support paralleling. DON'T assume this is UL listed. Also, their larger batteries and wall batteries are also not UL listed. The only batteries they have that are listed are the V3 100Ah rack mount 48V batteries. If you look at the ecoworthy site, you will see the UL listing in the product description and the UL certification in the download section for the product.

Deal is still available, now at a slightly lower price.
I'm seeing it at $412-415 (price seems to change) with this code (U40W9) no longer available.

On another note, the 9 reviews are all from one account saying "OK". How the same person leaves 9 reviews on different dates with the same message and this is still "All from verified purchases" seems odd. There was a message earlier from someone about whether this is legit, saying that Eco-worthy doesn't sell through Aliexpress; any other suspicion this isn't legitimate?

Code 40USDEAL still works for me. Those reviews do look a bit fishy, but I've ordered from AliExpress and never had a problem.

Yeah as others have said that idle consumption is so high. Compare it to the EG4 at signature solar that has less than 25 watts.

Can someone please give me advice? I have a solar panel system based on Enphase IQ8 and don't have a battery. I'm looking for a simple and not expensive solution to gather solar energy during the day and reuse it overnight. I do have an EV car and charge it with excessive solar energy if it stays during the day, so I use the car to accumulate energy. But I want to find a cheaper way to have a battery instead of using Empower. I just don't get what parts I need for that.

Where do I get 16kw battery for 1650? Cheapest I could find is around 4k (1300 each x3).
This site has it. Search for eco-worthy and youll find it. I just bought one. It's from eBay.

this one is no SRNE. This is likely anenji. SRNE are not split phase. they look different. I have 3 of them. Believe me this is a different one. May not be bad, but don't make a decision based on the track record of the SRNE. these are cheap as the new 6500W anenji are about 500 bucks. Ecoworthy has responded to questions saying these are not the build quality of the former SRNE single phase hybrid AIO units they've sold in previous years.

Agree that the idle draw is a bit high but how to others fare with similar specs or price point?

Unfortunately the inverter isn't UL listed and only certain battery models are. If your going to get a permit/clear with you insurance company, dont all the equipment would need to have some sort of safety certifications?

I've been using the EG4 3000W version of this for about 2 years now. I paid like $550 for a refurbished model in 2024. $376 for the 5000W version is absolutely insane.

I'm using the 3000w model to power 8 or 10 circuits in my home, completely separated from my mains (except for the mains-input for battery topoff on crappy cloud days). It's super weird to have power in 30% of my home when the grid power goes out. xD

I live on a super small piece of property. I've got 7 410w no-name panels (meaning theoretical maximum of 2,870w input). It was a sunny day yesterday, and I pulled in 2,425w at peak sun time. Pretty pleased with that for early March.

The 5000w version would likely allow me to pull harder off my batteries (if say, two vacuums and the microwave went at the same time, which is never, but still). It would also allow me to charge faster if I had more panels -- but I literally can't add more due to my limited space, so such would be wasted on me.

EXCELLENT deal regardless.
How do accomplish that, a sub panel or transfer switch?

Just a sub panel. Yanked out the circuits from my main on the rooms I wanted to be solar. Those rooms go into that sub panel and are powered strictly by the EG4.

I thought about doing that and not getting a permit. Did you get one for yourself?
