Trust me, I've cooked bacon every way, microwave, pan, air fryer, etc., but baking in the oven is the absolute best way, set and forget. Drizzle with maple syrup before cooking, and it's heavenly.

1000% correct. I cooked tons of bacon in the Army and an oven is the way to go.

I've sprinkled brown sugar on the bacon before baking. That's pretty good too.

My friend cooked bacon in the microwave for a group of us guys at a bachelor party. Not only did it take 5x longer than doing it on the stove, it made a bloody fkn mess and tasted like crap. Either under cooked or a chewy/rubbery mess. Several of us got the runs from it. Don't recommend.

I used to have one of these things back in the 90s. Didn't even know they still made them. I remember it doing a great job at cooking bacon. But yes....I'd be concerned about microplastics and whatnot nowadays.
