I have this setup. Works great! I have been sanding a ton of seams. I have it attached to a Bad Ash III fireplace ash vacuum.

The combo really keeps dust down to near zero.

How does this compare to the Hyde sander that's also on Amazon? I don't do drywall work often but would be nice to have a low cost option to minimize drywall dust.

6.5 foot hose seems limiting. You'd have to move the shopvac a lot.
