It's not that deep. They said "AirTag + Extended Battery Case"

which makes it sound like there's another offer for both an airtag and an extended battery case, when they really just mean that they pair an airtag with an extended battery case.

For those of you using one of these for your car - for street parking in my experience (and as someone else pointed out) Apple Maps does perfectly for finding my car again.

However, in parking lots - say, Costco, since it's topical lol - after an hour shopping and a hot dog I don't always remember my precise parking spot. Having my Apple Watch navigate me directly to it would be pretty helpful in those situations. Does it work well for this kind of use case, or is it too range limited? I can usually point myself in the correct general direction, maybe that would help?

Just interested in some real world experience if y'all have any.

One review claimed theirs got hot and burned them. 1 out of 1,152 review, and it was lacking any detail on what may have caused it or what batteries they may have been using.
But if that's too big of a risk for you, I'd recommend steering clear of pretty much anything that may use lithium ion batteries. Probably Airtags altogether because they are more dangerous as a choking hazard

IMO, this is a really good deal. A "good deal" on the gen 1 used to be $22 each. These are $20 each.
I have 5 of the gen 1, with 4 of them in the Elevation Lab cases. I have them in 4 vehicles, my truck that I rarely drive, and sits on the other side of the street from my house will often not be able to be located till I go and drive the truck. Me waking within 7 feet of it when I check my mail does not activate it, so wondering if the new one will be any better.
I may go grab this tomorrow.
