This was a killer deal for the Grabo at $149, but throwing in the free battery makes this one a steal and a no brainer. I'm in for 2. If you try to buy 2 in one transaction, the system will only give you 1 battery. If you try to split the order and try to get both delivered, they'll only allow you to get 1 free battery (not sure if this works for 2 orders for in store pick up, too). However, if you order 1 for delivery, and 1 for in store pick up, then you get a free battery with both transactions (2 free batteries!).
EDIT: There's 2 delivery options, regular shipping, and same day delivery. In my case, there was only 1 available for same day delivery, which is why it did not allow me to get 2 free batteries. However, others are saying that you can order 2 for regular delivery, and you'll get a free battery with each tool. FYI.

Why not order 2 separate delivery? Both of my order showing as free battery available.

I think I know what happened. There's 3 options, in store pick up, same day delivery, and shipping. I ordered this using same day delivery. I think there was only one available in my area with this option. Which is weird, because there's also 8 available for shipping. I'm going to try to order another one and select the shipping option (free w/Gold Member Status), and then cancel the one for in store pick up. Edit: Nevermind. I'm keeping the In store pick up order, as it will be ready today/ The shipping option results in the tool arriving Sunday, and the battery Tuesday.

This deal might also be hackable. My orders show that the battery is priced at $79.18, and the Grabo is priced at $69.81. That's crazy.

Yes, I was wondering if that's possible. If so, I'm a bit gun shy about doing partial returns. My Home Depot.com account got banned last year. Too many returns 😕

Oh that sucks! Yeah, getting your account banned is definitely a possibility. I'm sure Lowe's and Home Depot are using vendors like The Retail Equation to monitor for potential "abuse" of their return policies. The only 100% way to avoid this is to keep everything and just sell unwanted items locally on Marketplace or OfferUp.

I think Lowe's screwed up. The free battery is a separate promo that ends in April. The deal of the day is supposed to be the Grabo for $110 off of 259 for price of $149

You're totally right. Hopefully they'll at least fix it so that the deal is $150.00 per tool. That's still a great price that we don't see very often.
