Probably would be fine for a car that only does in town errands and not planning to drive in any snow/rain. The research I can find is that these are either made in China or Thailand.

I'd probably take advantage of the current tax season sales at Tire Rack for a more trust 2nd/3rd tier brand, but they will run you $100 more for the entire set compared to these. Though, if you have low tread on your current tires, these are probably better than an old worn tire.
