I got one of these a few months ago for a similar price. Simple, does what it needs to do. Use it to isolate the management segment of my network. Works great.

Tip: It's 5v so you can run it off USB power if you have a USB to barrel plug cable.

i had an unmanaged TP link switch and it developed a really annoying capacitor whine after a year or two.

Submit a warranty claim. In my experience they stand behind their products. I have been running these TP Link unmanaged Litewave switches for decades and they've been silent and reliable for me.

it was out of warranty and i was upgrading to new 2.5 switches, so no big deal. its in the closet as a backup device
