i got in on the 15 month promo. been happy with my service. just make sure you sign up for the plan you want for the full term you cant change or get phone promos or it voids the 50% off deal.

FI is qci 6 on tmobile network.
make sure you use a referral link to get 60 dollars off before you sign up.

Google Fi is the only MVNO that offers the same priority data as being directly with T-Mobile (meaning no deprioritization unless you hit the data cap).

A couple tips / things to keep in mind if you're considering going with Google Fi:

You can get an additional $60 Google Fi statement credit if you use a referral code when initially signing up.
If you're porting multiple numbers for yourself or family members, make sure everyone fully joins the plan before the March 25th deadline. We were told we had 30 days to port everyone, but two family members didn't accept their email invites before the 50% cutoff. Getting Google Fi support to honor the promo afterward was quite a hassle.
If you by chance have an Amex Blue Cash Preferred card, Google Fi codes as "internet streaming" (which counts under their streaming perk), so I've been getting 6% cash back on my Fi phone bill.
Overall my family and I haven't noticed any drawbacks on Unlimited Standard, and are saving over $80 per month compared to our previous T-Mobile plan.

My friend tried this and was charged regular price for the $35 Unlimited Essentials plan (should be $17.50). She made sure to click the promotion and it showed it throughout the checkout process, very odd.

Google FI insisted on sending me a sim card in the mail, despite the fact that I have a modern phone that does eSIM. It turns out that you can just ignore this and when you download the Google FI app it will install the eSIM for you on your phone anyway. I couldn't find a way to say "just eSIM please". Sharing in case helpful for anyone else.
