This is sooo tempting but I need 8gb ram minimum for some decent gaming. I need a deal on the 256GB version. Any idea if they every out those on sale?

This phone is really good the battery life is excellent and I surprised how good it is the only thing that is bad if it's not good for gaming but it works perfectly well for everyday use if you like One UI I'm actually really shocked how good this phone works.

Consider the Moto Edge 2024. It seems to match your criteria, and it would be cheaper than $240 if you bought one open box good condition. The only issue is that you wouldn't get updates, however, it has custom ROMs if you are interested in that.
