Get 404 error message on Slick Deals Giveaway Pages

All pages on slick deals giveaway pages all get 404 error messages.

using ipad webpage and latest version.

Do you plan on removing the extra / so you can read the page correctly without getting the 404 error message?

This issue has been ticketed so that the team can look into this issue, but I'm not sure when the fix will go out.

It sounds like some people who are getting this error may be visiting the forums list page (or using the forums dropdown) and then trying to visit the Slickdeals Contests and Giveaways forum directly.

Is that how you are encountering this error?

If so, what happens if you visit the giveaway page directly, via the icon in the top navigation bar? It's located between the search bar and your avatar in the top right corner, in both Classic and Redesign.

If that works for you, I suggest using only that method - going through the forums is more steps and in the end (when it works correctly), just redirects you to the same page.

For me the single slash works temporarily, then switches to 404 error. FWIW.

I'm not sure what it means…I use classic view and click links to access forums. Typically I click a link from the giveaway page that is newly posted daily. Temporarily takes me to page then forces redirects me to 404 error. I do not use the app or other view on SD. I hope that is a good way of explaining things. I'm unclear what the drop down method is/means.

Edit, actually just figured out the work around that was posted, I feel so dumb. I'm going through serious eyesight problems.

I'm not able to get to the giveaway page. Getting a 502 gateway error. I've tried using different browsers and clicking on different links to get there. It's only that page. I can get to all the other deal pages.

Update: I had to clear the cache to fix the issue.

Thank you for taking the time to report this. This was an issue on our side, but it should hopefully be fixed for anyone else who experienced this.
