$500 does seem like a lot for a 5060ti. Microcenter has a 12GB 5070 with Resident Evil for $580

5060 TI 16GB was like 349 in december, and I'm kicking myself for not buying one...but things have gotten crazy since then. If you just want higher framerate for games there are probably better choices, but if the ram is important for local ai models on a budget this is compelling.

While I suppose $500 is decent price for this card in the current market, I wouldn't pay this for it unless you need the cheapest possible 16GB 50-series card for AI use or something.

For gaming, I think you are better off either spending more and getting an RTX 5070/RX 9070 or spending less and getting an 8GB card if you must have a card right now. Ideally though, it is better to wait if you don't need a card this year.
