I was surprised there was no iGPU.
But people buying this should just want a cheap gaming laptop to live on a desk, and it should do fine for 1080p. Single-channel 12 GB could be painful until upgraded, but that's the world we live in.
These could be the last quad-core gaming laptops that will ever be made. 7235HS is Rembrandt Refresh from 2023. Zen 4 Phoenix/Hawk Point start at 6 cores for higher TDP H(S) SKUs. Krackan quad-core Ryzen AI 5 330 has a 15-28W TDP range while the other Krackan SKUs have 15-54W.
We might see the return of "H" and "U" designations in the future since having a wide 15-54W TDP range is bad for the consumer. And AMD likes to change naming schemes all the time.

If your budget is $500 firm, and you're looking for a gaming laptop today, this is probably the best deal you'll find right now. But there may be more deals coming soon in the $500 range to compete with the Mac Neo.
If you're looking for a laptop that's not for 80%+ gaming usage, you'll find that the battery life and 12GB of RAM are limiting.

I don't have time to game in real life. I buy the consoles and they all sit. So I do not need a really nice gaming rig... I want a capable device to use when I can. Flight simulator is all I will use
BB OpenBox is awesome. I always get Fair and check it there right in the store and so far it's always "almost new" at the cheapest price.
They said they just labeled it in different grades just to have diff prices to clear out the inventory. Some may have been floor models though so do take good look at the machine when you pick i up.
