Same brand, different model. Amazon has since pulled the model that was involved in that fire. Honestly that can happen in just about anything lithium powered under the right conditions. And figure most solar recharging lights sure or in the sunlight for meant hours a day and that sort of heat and environment is not good for lithium batteries.

Even without the UL listing Im careful. I always anchor mine or put the portion of the device that touches the solar batteries on a metal plate on near the ground just in case... I don't want want to take any chances baby

How are these in humid areas? I've always had issues with motion sensors in the humidity.
