Great deal, but at 1" deep, it's not functional for most people. Sunglasses, wallets, heck, even fold phones with cases can be thicker than 1". However, Travelon [amazon.com]has many other bags up to 70% off, all of which are larger and more useful.

If you're an ultra-minimalist and only need to carry a credit card, ID, and hotel key when traveling, this will work. But I'd wager most ladies - including me - are not. When I'm traveling, I'm going out of my hotel for at least 6 hours, which means a bag that can hold sunscreen, a scarf, tissues, hand sanitizer, phone + charger, and ideally, a water bottle.

I second this. I own multiple Travelon bags in various sizes, but use the larger bags a lot more often than smaller ones. This one [amazon.com] in navy color is my most used one for the last 7 years. It fits everything I need for a day out (wallet, cell phone, phone battery charger, maps, sunglasses, sun screen, hand cream, ChapStick, tissue paper, water bottle, umbrella, snacks, etc.) without feeling too heavy or looking too bulky.
